Quality of care
In a hospital, quality management extends over all the sites and affects all the sectors (care, administration, catering, services, suppliers, etc.) Considering the size and complexity of Valais Hospital, a coordinated approach is essential. The aim of implementing quality procedures on a cantonal level is not to impose a “label” effect but rather to get the teams to adapt to a considerable cultural change in the method of management and care. As well as pursuing its goals, Valais Hospital also takes the environment into consideration by looking for low-energy solutions, controlling water consumption and by raising awareness among its staff with regard to waste management.

The rates charged depend on several factors such as the pathology, the origin, class and type of insurance the patient has. Financial guarantees are required from the patient before admission.
